more about me

Before I found theatre, I was involved in several extracurricular activities. I was a pitcher for a competitive baseball team, and competed as a level ten gymnast. I played wide receiver and quarterback in football for four years. I was also on a competitive pool (billiards) team in high school, competed in swimming, played soccer and basketball, and even dabbled in lacrosse. In my free time, I love to rollerblade and mountain bike, hike, paint/customize shoes, and do carpentry/at-home projects. I’ve loved finding new things to explore ever since I was a kid. And it’s why I like the arts so much: Theatre gives me a chance to push boundaries and find new experiences every day. I found that feeling when I played trumpet in band, when I sang in choir, when I performed with my acapella group Walk The Line, and now I’ve found it with theatre. My love for this art form continues day to day, and I am so excited to continue learning and growing through the years. Pushing the boundaries of theatre by participating in works that question societal norms/Moral values, doing work that reimagines the classics in a new light. Projects that involve dance and its connection to the portrayal of Human emotions. Pushing my talents as a dancer and, hopefully, one day, choreographing a show. Dance and Choreography

Dance/Choreography

My love for dance has grown immensely during my time in college. FROM FEELING LIKE I HAD TWO LEFT FEET TO BECOMING A CHOREOGRAPHER, I HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH THIS ASPECT OF PERFORMANCE. During my time in the UTA Dance company, I not only completed my first-ever dance course. I also have DANCED IN PIECES SUCH AS "Eleanor RIGBY”, “SOLITUDE”, “THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT”, AND “A ROSE BLOOMS IN CHAOS”. I have also begun my choreographic career while in the dance program at UTA. A few of my choreography credits include “Ang3r,” a take on the societal pressures of being male-identifying, and “The Butterfly Effect,” a commentary on the intricacies of life and the connections we make along the way (A piece I choreographed and danced in). I am excited to keep pushing this aspect of my performance and keep creating art through movement and dance.
